What is a question trail activity?
A question trail activity is a scavenger hunt in which students work their way through a series of questions in order to advance to the end. Correct answers allow students to progress on the trail, whereas incorrect answers loop them back to prior questions, requiring them to review their previous answers in order to identify their errors and solve the problem again. Once all questions have been answered correctly, students will reach the end of the trail.
This activity is provided in both printable and digital formats, allowing you ultimate flexibility in how you use it. It can be used for whole-group, small-group, or individual instruction. It can be assigned as practice, review, or assessment. Whatever your students’ needs, you’ll be covered.
